General Guidance
HWRacing, although short for "Heriot-Watt Racing", should always be referred to as HWRacing. In particular, please never refer to the team as "The Heriot-Watt Racing Society", as that can cause confusion as to who we are and what we do.
The HWRacing font (used on all official documents) is Gill Sans. If use of that font is not possible, please use Helvetica or another appropriate sans serif font.
The HWRacing team colours are white, black, light blue (#79daff) and dark blue (#005fb8). If the colours are side-by-side, please try to keep light blue on the left and dark blue on the right (i.e. the same orientation as the "stripes" logo).
Guidance on the "Stripes" Logo
The "stripes" logo is one of the primary logos of HWRacing. Use it whenever you want to represent the team in a compact format. The two colours are "light blue" (#79daff) and "dark blue" (#005fb8). Above is a PNG of the logo on a transparency.
Guidance on the "Wordmark" Logo
The "wordmark" logo is our other primary logo. Use it if you have the space, and especially if the logo is being shown to people who don't already know about the team. Above is a PNG of the logo on a transparency.
